What we need are more interesting user interfaces. The PowerSet and cognition interfaces way to basic. What really is missing is the user interface. The Semantic Interface design coupled with the complex semantic information architecture.

There are some other free services as well that can do this. For example the http://www.audiofeedcreator.com and the http://www.vocalfruits.com services. We are currently working on a major upgrade on the VocalFruits service. There will be some new neat features as well as support for some more languages. Stay tuned on http://blog.rspeak.com
